A Family Affair?

by Scot J. Paltrow
Lawyers sifting the remains of the $50 billion Ponzi scheme are looking closer at whether Bernard Madoff's brother and other relatives played a role in the fraud. more...

*I am reminded of why Michael Milken, junkbond kingpin of Drexel Lambert,(who by the way, was the Wall Street firm that not only blew up in the 80's from the Savings and Loan crisis, but actually are the ones who created today's CDO's), took a plea deal to go to jail. It was so that his brother, a lawyer, who apprently was somehow involved, wouldn't lose his law license. How's that for taking a bullet for your brother. If only Madoff's could be so lucky. ken Lay ring a bell anyone? His death put an end to any litigation from Enron. Justice.
