Donkey Dodd needs to say goodbye to the senate

*I am of the belief that CONGRESS bears the majority of the responsibility for our present economic crisis. They create or deregulate the laws and after they have sucked the life out of our piggy banks, then they go and work for Wall Street. Senator Dodd has been in Congress for THIRTY (30) YEARS! And now all of a sudden we are to believe that he will distance himself from the same cash cows who have hired his wife and children and given him deep discounted mortgage loans and cheap Irish country homes because he is in a battle from a Pubby? Pleeeeease......
After take take taking from the public trough for more than thirty years he should just go away. It's a crime that there is NOT one democrat in Connecticut who thinks he is a slime like I do and would run against him in the primary. Donkeys beware...you are making fools of us all and I am sick to death of it.

Connecticut's Dodd aims to cut ties with financial industry
For about 30 years, Sen. Christopher Dodd, D-Conn., has had a friendly relationship with the largest financial firms in the country. The financial crisis, however, has prompted the chairman of the Senate Banking Committee to distance himself from those who have been his biggest supporters. How Dodd's political makeover will be received in Connecticut remains to be seen, however, as he faces a challenge from a little-known Republican. The Washington Post (7/21)
